Role - Project Engineer - CCTV
Hours -Monday to Friday
Salary - £32,500 DOE
Location - Nottingham
Contract Type - Permanent

We are looking for an experienced CCTV Project Engineer to join a well-established design and manufacturing business to perform a wide range of engineering tasks to enable the company to undertake project fulfilment.
This position will from time to time involve overseas travel.

What will you be doing:

• Implementing the build and configuration of IP based systems, including Cameras, Servers, storage devices and ancillary network equipment, fibre optic units and equipment cabinets
• Attendance and hosting of Factory Acceptance Testing events is necessary to ensure that the system has been built and functions as per the client's requirements
• Provide support to the client during the installation phase and to our Commissioning Engineers during Site Acceptance Testing. Provide ongoing support through the life of the system
• Taking the project requirements and designing a system to meet them using our standard products and innovating wherever necessary to provide bespoke technical solutions. This part of the job involves the production of engineering drawings and documentation. The package is submitted to the client for approval
• The project documentation pack is used in the manufacturing process. >Drawings and documentation require sufficient detail to enable the production staff to build and test the system. Support during the manufacturing process is a key element of the position
• Assisting Sales in system designs, technical checking of system bids prior to submittal to clients. Production of supporting technical documentation to be submitted with bid

What we are looking for:

• Understanding of electrical and electronic systems
• Previous experience in a CCTV role
• Technical Engineering qualification in relevant electrical / electronic engineering discipline or relevant industry experience
• The ability to work in accordance with the company ISO9001 quality system
• Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software especially MS Word & Excel, Auto CAD and possibly Visio
